Dear family,
The white shirt fits just fine and tell Connie I got her gift and it was much appreciated. Thank you so much and the Insanity DVDs are just what I wanted so thank you so much. So Dad is now a High Priest! That's awesome!! And I bet the Young Men will miss him. He was a dedicated Scoutmaster, always took a whole weeks vacation to take the scouts to camp each year. Oh, and thank you for the pictures of Alex's farewell. That was awesome! Here was my week.
District Meeting. Doing District Meeting is pretty weird. I don't like doing it anymore hahahaha but I do it. It felt good just being a regular missionary for 2 transfers! But It was good we talked about building our testimonies to the point that we are converted. Anyways we went our for lunch then we got the car and New Boston got picked up. Most of the rest of the day just fell through. A lot of our appointments didn't work out. But we did get dinner from the Schlosser's. And we did find a new investigator. A part member family, the Turners. Randee is a member but his wife, Janice, is not. So we are going to start teaching her. She is very interested. And that was our day.
Thursday the 25th
We tried to see a lot of different people today but none worked out again. We went into Arkansas today to see some people but none of them were home. Then we went to the Neilson's and helped them out with a few things. Then we went and had dinner with the Finchers. We had some good Lasagna. Anyways that was the end of the day.
Friday the 26th
Today we helped with the Gholsons with their yard! Did some service but another slow day today. We did get to go out and eat at Catfish King. Elder Hopman is also very much into Pokemon. And that reminded me of playing the Pokemon game in the past. It made me want to play those old games again so badly hahaha. It's was cool! He talks a lot about it.
Saturday the 27th
Another big service day. This morning we went out and helped with a highway clean up. There is an adopt a highway program up in the country I guess and this ward adopted one. So we clean it up every once in a while. It was fun. We covered about 2 miles. Then we had some pancakes, sausage and bacon. Which was really good. Later that day we went to the Neilson's and helped them with some things and they fed us dinner. And we called it a day.
Sunday the 28th
It was a great Sunday. I loved the talks. The Bishop and one of the High Councilmen talked today and they were great talks, to not judge people. Enjoyed it a lot. Then afterwards we went to go give the sacrament to colleen in the nursing home and gave her a blessing. It was another good experience. Bro. Lyle went with us today and it was good! Anyways after that we had lunch and then went tracting to try to find some people but no luck. Went to the Neilson's for dinner and then called it a day.
A really slow week but we did a lot service. We don't have a lot of progression with our investigators right now so we are trying to find some new ones. But that was our week in the work! LOTS OF SERVICE!!!
Love You,
your Son
